Then they should click on the Powepoint Games link on the left side of the homepage. Next, they should click on Game Database in the green square. From there the module they should choose is titled Survival of the Fittest. This game for elementary classrooms teaches students to identify different land and water habitats and characteristics of each, recognize that pollution is harmful to animals and their habitats, and help them learn about animal adaptations. Students "race" around a track while answering questions about habitats and drawing cards that teach about hibernation, etc. This is a great resource for students because it allows them to be an important part of their learning while having fun at the same time.
